On November 11, 2016, BOSCO Uganda’s Coordination Department and the Technical Advisor (Christian Schaefer) went to two of the new ICT Centers of Pagak ICT Centre-Lamogi (Amuru District) and Amuru Lamogi Old Boys and Girls’Association -Amuru District.
Again on November 15, 2016, the same team went to Lacor Primary School ICT Site-Amuru District and later concluded with Acoli Muslim District -Layibi Division Gulu District for a Monitoring Visit.
The team assessed how the management team is taking care of the Centers and its activities and in addition paid courtesy call to some local government officials and to discuss important concerns for the local government official to guarantee success of the intervention.
As every start is difficult we as BOSCO Uganda have a special attention in supporting our ICT Centers in the first month especially for the newly established ICT Centre and as well for the already existing ICT Centres by making operations standard Visits to the ICT Centres.
As usual, BOSCO Uganda will continue with these round visits to all the 32 rural-based Operating Community ICT Centres in remote villages by bringing the social changes in the lives of our local people who were buried in the dark side of information access and communication through Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and to continually realize it’s vision and mission.
