Prior to the de day of the Business Plan competition, over 200 (two hundred) Entrepreneurs from different parts of Uganda submitted their viable Business idea writeups on line.
From the over 200 Business plans submitted, 50 entrepreneurs were selected and trained in a 5 day’s Boot camp workshop (preparatory training) that was meant to prepare the entrepreneurs on how best they could model their ideas in to a good business plan and later present before the panel of Judges.
As this Project is made up of Consortium Organizations, the Judges who were headed by Pamela Angwech (Executive Director, GWEDG-Gulu) were representatives from the Consortium body that included, Hiinga Uganda, Imuka, Hive Collab and BOSCO Uganda. In addition, there were representatives form the Donor Organization; Geneva Global in the capacities of Mark and Dr. David Dronyi.
From the 50 business plans that were prepared in the boot camp to present their business plans before the panel of judges, 11 (Eleven) business owners emerged as the winners in The Gulu Business Plan Competition. These eleven winners of the Gulu Business Plan competitions had their faces covered in revealing and unending smiles of successes on their faces as they walked away with Cash Prizes that they will be communicated to on how and when their Prizes will hit their accounts. - News Vending Agents-NVA
- T4T Enterprise
These businesses are expected to develop in terms of the number of people who will be employed, turn over, Profit margin and others and to as well impact on the lives of the people in the areas where they are operational as the progresses will be monitored and documented.
